clarityandprecision is the proofreading and editing business set up and run by Tim Davies.

Since 2006, Tim has been editing academic books subsequently published by Routledge, Trentham and NIACE, as well as articles, theses and other academic work.

The proofreading and editing service covers all social sciences and humanities subjects with areas of special interest being: social sciences and education; social policy; social work; politics; English language and literature; English, European and American history 18th to 21st centuries; art history and criticism; social history; ancient history and military history.

Tim is a literature graduate (BA Hons in English and American Literature) and has a good knowledge of Latin and French with a working knowledge of Italian, Spanish and Ancient Greek. For three years he lived in New Zealand and holds a qualification in Editing and Proofreading from the New Zealand School of Business Studies.

Based in Birmingham, Tim provides proofreading services to writers all around the UK and also internationally.
